With unemployment rising to 8.4% in Minnesota, and exports dropping by almost 20% from just a year ago, we are seeing the priorities of Congressional leadership continue to lead us astray.
We’ve seen spending spike at unprecedented rates – so much so, in fact, that every man, woman and child in the country now owes over $37,000 as their share of the national debt.
Let’s begin by reforming health care without throwing even more new taxes on the backs of families and small businesses. Let’s give priority to small business – our most important job creators. And let’s take the time to actually read, debate and improve the major legislation before us.
